The ABC’s of DISC

The test did accurately gauge my management orientation. I am I and D person. i think it really fit me. I think the test got it right, but not everything. I don't wish to be another type, because I think every type have their weaknesses. We just have to deal with it, and make it better. It is really helpfull to determine people's management "type" to better understand where they are coming from. If you are the boss, this management "type" test can help you to put your employee in a position that is better for them. In relationship, this test can help you. You will know your partner alot better, so the couple won't argue that much, and they can help each other with the problem they have, and balance it out.

I think that this test does not apply to personal relationhip. In my opinion to discover the botton of the person it takes time. It is hard to judge somebody from personal point of view by using this test. When manager tests the person by using this test it works because the things he is looking for can be discovered in the moment. Personal relationship takes much more time.

I think this test can be applied at work environment than personal life. Reading through the comments, it seems like more or less the types reflect the real personalities. I was C with High S, which really read me well.

I believe it helps a lot an employer when he/she is interviewing a candidate for a job. It might not tell him his exact qualities but more or less he will know the person he will hire or not. I believe that you are right when you say you are the type �D� personality. You are quick at solving problems and making decisions. For example when we had the egg assignment, you and Neer came up with the decision right away and we were one of the few groups that one the exercise. Great working with you and see you next semester in economics.
